I've never had deep dish pizza before and it appeared in my dream the other night so I thought, "let me pursue this dish".
Basically this place appears more like a small little bar, but seems to make this specialty pizza.
I feel like whether you will like this depends on your age and maturity. It was a thin-crust dish with thick layered cheese, interspersed with finely chopped onions and the occasional mushroom or chopped spinach. It was called the Farmers Market. Generally it was tasty, especially the tomato sauce. However the amount of cheese was somewhat sickening to the stomach, literally. It doesn't sit well. Or maybe it's the guilt is making me feel psycho-somatic....
Maybe that amount of cheese works for younger people who can handle that (?).
But by the way, check out the photos. I'm not sure if deep dishes are usually supposed to be thicker than this. It seemed thin.
Overall if you're into an indulgent dish or want to try deep dish for the first time, I would recommend this place.
I don't eat meet at non-halal places, so I'm not sure if the pizza with meat options would inspire return visits, but this pizza didnt make me wanna return. It was good enough to check off of the bucket list.
By the way, there is some paid street parking on the road, and across the street there is a small Plaza with about 10 parking spaces. Maybe if you're lucky you can squeeze in and sneak on over to Double D's. -

A little to pricy for a pizza.
It was good but not the best, gets soggy really fast.
Tight spot inside, the man in the back kept going for cigarettes not something you want to see when they're handling they're handling your food!!! -

WOW this has got to be the most $$$$$$ pizza that I've ever bought so I was a little upset that there were no golden flakes inside the tomato sauce...
We ordered the pizza via Uber Eats and did the create your own option where each topping is $2...honestly, never doing that again since the amount of each ingredient was severely lacking and because its stupid to charge the same price for meat options vs. veggies.
The pizza itself was AMAZING and enough for two people but you'd think that it would be a lot bigger considering how expensive it was. Overall, it tasted AMAZING but it was not worth the price! -

I am a fan of uno dip dish pizza in Chicago. Not as much the competitors in Chicago. this Toronto's version is not even par to those competitors to my taste...
Crust was too blackened by the oven, overcooked/burned, and not very tasty or crusty at all; overall the sauce is too salty and oily, Italian sausage was good, green pepper is really lacking in the basic chicago style.
portion sizes are ok and priced grossly as you would pay for in Chicago, but definitely not the same experience... -

Nice place but the pizza was not amazing. I took a veggie one and there wasn't lots of toppings in it: 2 pieces of mushroom and 2 pieces of red pepper, that's it. I didn't want any onion but that was a little light. And I didn't like much the tomato sauce on top of it.
